I recommend the following products to everyone. Please read the labels of each product that you buy. You can buy these products directly from the manufacturer. The companies are not required to tell you which products are best for acne.
The most useful things that I have found to help me deal with acne: 1. Use a non-comedogenic oil such as jojoba oil, jojoba lotion, or jojoba cream. Jojoba oil is not good for acne. It is best used for the acne it is intended for. In fact, I don't recommend using jojoba lotion in acne. There is too much of a chance that it will cause you to be sensitive to your other ingredients and you will not get all the benefit from the skin-care product you're using. 2. Don't use acne-promoting ingredients. I don't mean all acne-promoting ingredients that are common in skincare products. These are things such as benzoyl peroxide (which can damage skin if it comes in contact with the oil layer of the epidermis) and ascorbyl palmitate, which can be toxic if they enter the bloodstream of a skin-care product. Avoid using any product that contains these ingredients. 3. Don't use products that contain products with ingredients like sodium laureth sulfate (used in acne treatment products) or salicylic acid (used to brighten skin), because the ingredients will disrupt the natural barrier of the skin, which is the part that keeps acne-prone skin out of your pores.
